Temple Otolaryngologist Discusses Laryngopharyngeal Reflux Treatment Options

Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was recently featured in the publication ENT Today. In an article highlighting various treatment options for laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR), Dr. Jamal discussed how voice therapy used in combination with the standard treatment of proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) can be beneficial.  

“The patients who had voice therapy in addition to the PPI treatment got better faster,” Dr. Jamal said.
